I recruited a handful of experts and influencers to notice the most productive places in the U. S. Uu. UU that they proposed to visit. in 2020. Your possible options range from historic cities to mountain getaways and up-and-coming places you may not know about, but want to see in the new year. Compare them to the most productive locations in the United States that experts have selected for 2019. I also have my own list of some of the places I’m most passionate about in the U. S. U. S. for 2020.

Where: New Orleans, Louisiana

Why: New Orleans would possibly pose as a Mardi Gras party town, but it’s actually a city with a rich history that’s known for its music and food scene, not to mention festivals. New Orleans has about 130 festivals each year, so there’s no bad time to visit. In 2020, the city opens its doors to host the Women’s Final Four games as well as the 2020 College Football National Playoff Championship, making it the best time for sports fans. If you don’t like sports, New Orleans has a lot to do for visitors. Bourbon Street is the apparent selection for food, drinks, and jazz, and it’s definitely a must-see, especially for beginners in town. (For easy access to Bourbon Street, head to the Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans, which sits in a 1908 White House Fine Arts construction and completes a transformation of the rooms, suites, hallways, and spa just in time to kick off the new decade. )

Also check out Frenchmen Street for more live music and an absolutely different vibe. The donuts at the Café du Monde are the quintessential tourist trap, but for a clever reason; it is worth including in your itinerary, either for the environment and for the delicacies. The Garden District is a captivating part of town with beautiful homes (think everything from cabins to mansions) to appreciate and nearby, Magazine Street offers cafes and restaurants to refuel before heading to nearby boutiques and antique shops.

Where: Vail, Colorado

Why: Residents are very proud to be #YeahThatGreenville (USA). It has 35 Greenville), is the most used hashtag in the region. I don’t blame the locals for brimming with pride in their hometown. the south is its backdrop: the Blue Ridge Mountains. The 22-mile Swamp Rabbit Trail and waterfalls that run through downtown don’t hurt either. Falls Park on the Reedy is to Greenville what Central Park is to New York. not having an impressive suspension bridge floating over the landscaped gardens below. My favorite place to stay is in the hills of the Hôtel Domestique, a lively boutique hotel through a French castle that belongs to the legend of Excursion of France George Hincapie.

Why: Orlando has something new and exciting, but in 2020 there is so much to do that you may have to stop over two or three times to see it all. For fans of theme parks, Walt Disney World is the place to be with many new attractions coming soon or recently. Disney’s Hollywood Studios just opened Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in December 2019, following Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, which opened this year; and on March 4, an all-new attraction, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, will begin taking guests into the world of cartoons. Epcot is also undergoing a massive makeover and in the summer of 2020, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will begin taking consumers on an adventure through the Gusteau restaurant. There’s also a new logo stunt exhibit at Universal Orlando, the Bourne Stuntacular, opening in spring 2020. Stay at the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort and Spa, opening in February 2020 for easy access to Disney and UniversalArray and enjoy the fashionable elegance of the sprawling complex.

Outside of the theme parks, there are dozens of small neighborhoods to explore, each with its own style. Winter Park is a trendy place to eat, and the novelty of 2020 is Sixty Vines, which will be the place to see and see. The wine bar will feature more than 60 wines on tap, as well as seasonal Napa Valley cuisine. The Madam Walker Legacy Center, which will all be renovated in 2020, will pay tribute to the entrepreneur and first African-American woman millionaire, Ms. Walker. There, stopover visitors can participate in programming and see artifacts from their life and business. And then there’s Bottleworks, which is home to a former Coca-Cola factory that’s being remodeled in the last neighborhood. It’s becoming full of great shops, chic restaurants, and even a hotel.
