“Warzone” sequel expected to feature “revolutionary innovations”
Activision Blizzard talked about the upcoming Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 reboot and the Warzone sequel in its most recent financial results.
Released today (April 25), Activision Blizzard’s first quarter 2022 financial effects mention that the company will “deliver even more engaging content” to gamers as it expands its teams and determination to the call of Duty total.
“This year, Call Of Duty is a sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare, the most successful Call Of Duty name to date, and will be the most complex party in franchise history,” the press release reads.
The official mention of Modern Warfare 2 follows developer Infinity Ward’s social media accounts that went extinct last week, with an improvement in light on the studio’s Twitter banner sparking fan-favorite character Ghost.
