With five seasons under its belt, The Voice has had its percentage of coach rotations, especially since several seasons of the Making a Song festival air annually. It took American Idol twice as long to get to 20 seasons, but so far, those two Making a Song festivals don’t overlap in terms of judges and trainers.   The four original characters who shaped the show’s trajectory were country singer Blake Shelton, Maroon Five frontman Adam Levine, “Fighter” singer Christina Aguilera and “Forget You” singer CeeLo Green.

Other world music celebrities have walked the 4 red chairs since the exhibition began in 2011. The singers who judged also covered a wide diversity of genres, from pop to country, rap and much more.

Blake Shelton has the longest tenure as a coach on “The Voice. “He recently left the program after 23 seasons and is also the program’s highest-earning coach.

Adam Levine was one of the four original coaches on “The Voice” along with Blake Shelton. The two singers had a friendly rivalry during their time together on the show. Levine coached for 16 seasons and plans to return in 2025 for season 27.

Christina Aguilera was one of The Voice’s basic coaches for the first 3 seasons, took a break and returned for seasons 5, 8, and 10.

CeeLo Green finished the quartet of original trainers of the song-making contest. He coached for the first 3 seasons, left for season 4, and returned once as coach for season 5.

Shakira joined The Voice in season 4 and returned for season six after a hiatus.

Usher coached during seasons four and six.

Gwen Stefani first joined the Making a Song festival in season 7 and has been a coach from time to time in seasons 9, 12, 17, 19, 22, and 24. He will return for season 26.

Pharrell Williams, coach of The Voice from seasons 7 to 10.

Miley Cyrus coached in seasons 11 and thirteen of the series.

Kelly Clarkson has become the go-to coach for season 14 of the Making a Song festival, and remained in her position until season 21. She was also the coach for season 23.

Nick Jonas coached during seasons 18 and 20.

Ariana Grande served as a coach on season 20 of The Voice.

The former One Direction member served as back-to-back coach during seasons 23 and 24.

Chancellor “Chance The Rapper” Bennett joined The Voice as a coach for season 23 and returned for season 25.

Reba McEntire joined Season 24 as a coach and will return for Season 26 after Season 25.

Dan Shay, the first duo to land a training spot on The Voice in season 25.

Michael Bublé will complete the training panel as a newcomer to Season 26 along with Snoop Dogg.
