Richard Marx has his new album, Songwriter, coming in on September 30.

The LP will cover 4 other styles of music: pop, rock, country and ballads, and will feature collaborations between Marx and Burt Bacharach, Keith Urban and David Hodges of Evanescence, as well as two of Marx’s sons, Lucas and Jesse.

“I’ve had an incredible opportunity in my career as a songwriter to write all kinds of songs with and for all kinds of artists,” Marx said in a press release. “In spite of everything, it happened to me that there was no explanation. why not record an album of my own that touches on various genres that I love. “

Marx also released the first single from the album, “Same Heartbreak Different Day”. You can pay attention to it below.
