The Independent Music Corporate Exceleration Music has acquired Mack Avenue Music Group, which has a collection of jazz stamps.

The acquisition of the Mack Avenue catalog and its active roster of artists. Mack Avenue labels have won dozens of Grammy quotes and awards.

The deal arrives two years after Exceleration acquired independent digital and physical distribution/services company Redeye for an undisclosed sum. 

Exceleration Music plans to “leverage its robust distribution, marketing, and technological resources to enhance Mack Avenue’s global impact.”

Music Corporate is still led by its Organization of Original Founders, Glen Barros (former CEO of Concord Music Group), Dave Hansen (Executive President of Merlin and former CEO of Epitaf), Charles Caldas (former Merlin CEO), Amy Dietz (former General Manager of Ingurooves) and John Burk (Grammy winning manufacturer and former president of Concord Records).

The US-headquartered company says that it is funded by investments from each of its partners, as well as institutional and private investors.

Amongst Exceleration’s investments to date are Bloodshot Records, Kill Rock Stars, Mom+Pop, and SideOneDummy, and most recently, India-based indie label Azadi Records, which marked Exceleration’s expansion into to Asia.

The music glut says its new deal strengthens its “commitment to legacy artists and new jazz. “The company already has the multi-Grammy Award-winning jazz label, Records Records.

Mack Avenue’s operations will now be incorporated with sincere records to shape the global jazz band of La Ciena and will be guided through the existing president of Mack Avenue, Denny Stilwell.

This collective jazz organization will also feature a team of key Mack Avenue executives and sincere records.

Founded in 1999 through Gretchen Carhartt Valade, former president of the American logo Cathartt, Mack Avenue’s top artists come with Christian McBride, Cécile McLorin Salvant, and Kenny Garrett.
